Guide to 4 Santa Monica Summer Hot Spots

In anticipation of Summer 2017 (first day is June 21st!), we are excited to kick off the first blog on “Things to do” for our Santa Monica communities!

As a resident at 1410 SM Apartments, the list of entertainment options is endless! From stunning beaches to scenic hikes to the tastiest restaurants, this coastal neighborhood has so much to offer.

Here’s a guide to 4 hot spots you must take advantage of when living in Santa Monica:

Things to do:

Ferris Wheel

Santa Monica Pier

One of the most popular destinations in Santa Monica since 1909 is the iconic Santa Monica Pier. Get some wind in your hair on a roller coaster ride, explore the aquarium, take your next Instagram pic of the 360- degree views from the Ferris Wheel, and enjoy local music while strolling to the end of the picturesque pier to get some authentic Mexican grub at Mariasol.

Beach House

Annenberg Community Beach House
Whether you prefer a pool or the beach, you can have the best of both at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Conveniently located just north of the pier off PCH, for $10 per adult you can enjoy the pool, splash pad, game room, Yoga classes and beach sports! Take advantage of their “Half Priced Mondays” too! Eat and kick back on the beach, (literally!) at Back on the Beach Cafe.

Farmers Market

Santa Monica Farmers Market
The perfect start to your Wednesday and Saturday mornings! Make your way to the Santa Monica 3rd Street Promenade and smell the fresh flowers (and produce) at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market.

Arclight Santa Monica
Can you believe the Arclight Santa Monica is the first cinema complex to open anywhere in Santa Monica in over 20 years?! Located steps away from the Pacific Ocean in Downtown Santa Monica, the unique, all-outdoor Santa Monica Place hosts the state-of-the-art Arclight Santa Monica. Enjoy high-end amenities including reserved seating, black-box auditorium, commercial-free movies, gourmet cuisine and more.
